Can I get legal advice without opening a case?
- You can receive legal advice through a consultation, without initiating court proceedings. We offer:
- Legal Opinion (if required): Subject to additional charge inclusive of consultation and file opening.
Do you handle both personal and corporate legal matters?
- Our attorneys are experienced in a wide range of matters, including both personal legal issues and corporate/commercial transactions.
- For corporate matters we offer Data Protection training, some of our clients include BHC and BOTUSAFE Investments.
Can your firm represent clients outside Gaborone or in international matters?
- Yes, distance is not a barrier. We are able to represent Clients outside Gaborone and travel to attend matters locally in Botswana.

Do you offer notarial or conveyancing services for property transactions?
- We guide clients through every step of property transactions, including drafting agreements, registration, and transfer of property.

How much do you charge for an initial consultation?
- Consultation: P1,500.00
- File Opening: P1,000.00

Are your legal fees fixed or billed hourly?
- Hourly billing is our standard practice.
- Fixed fees are available for clients (Companies) on a retainer agreement.
Do you offer flexible payment plans or installment options?
- Clients may make deposits into our trust account, which will only be invoiced after work has been done on the file.
What is included in the first consultation?

Do you offer pro bono or discounted services in certain cases?
- Yes, we take on pro bono matters upon assessment. Priority is given to meritorious cases involving public interest or individuals unable to afford representation.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
- Omang / Passport (for foreign nationals)
- Court documents, contracts, or any evidence you have
- Divorce: Marriage certificate, Form A or B
- Land matters: Title deed or customary land grant certificate
- Criminal matters: Charge sheet and any related court papers
How long does it typically take to resolve a legal matter?
- It depends really there is no timeframe when it comes to legal matters.
How will I be updated on the status of my case?
- Phone calls and emails after each court appearance or filing
- Monthly reports for corporate clients with multiple files
What if I have an urgent legal issue—can I get fast assistance?
- We file urgent court applications when needed and treat emergencies with priority.
Will my case information be kept confidential?
- Absolutely.
- We have a Data Protection Officer on-site
- All staff undergo regular data protection training

Can I change my lawyer within the firm if I feel the need?
